NEW JOURNAL

Lets see. i mean i really cant get rid of all my freinds. that would be mean and cruel.... its more of like a i need to meet new people too thing. im still talking to my freinds. its just they live about 200 miles away..... hard. i need to find more otaku in my area to hang out with... not the yugioh freaks or pokemon dudes . morelike the casuall manga reading anime watching people / gamers out their. its getting boring not having any real freinds near me...... i wish i could go back in time when i was still 16/17 when we were having so much fun... yea some off us were asses at times. ... definetly including me but high school was so fun.... it just had no worries i could party. watch anime and drink.... not to get drunk but to help the party along... maybe if i found a girl like me and dated her all her otaku freinds would hang out with me much less i'd have the best damn kind of girlfreind..... o.o gettting to be one of those emo rants you keep hearing about..... "o.o lol well i guess ill put all my other stuff on here too like my freinds and all that

ORIGINAL MAGIC CHARACTER CONTEST.

Ok i want to go ahead and appologize for the delay. Times have been hard. i just moved into my apartment in july and got a new car so moneys been short. plus i never had a computer i was on my aunts computer. im on my aunts today too. ok and no i wasnt mad when yall did those comments. i acctually saw them and laughed today i hadnt got on for a while because my aunt would never let me on. now i just got pay'd and i can start handing out PRIZEZ But there is one suprise you guys are going to like since everyone had to wait so long first prize went up to a years subscription!!!! second stays the same. edit Half a years subscription for first XP

So prizes should go out on today if not they will go out thursday the 18th "have to wait on paypal"

Ill explain how the judging went. it had criteria first it was scaled on a 1-10 on Blue
1-10 on Magical
1-5 on originality
and a 1-10 on just like ablility

IT WAS VERY CLOSE!!!!

SECOND PRIZE- katiecld
-Blue- 7 out of 10
would have like to see MORE!!
-Magical- 9 out of 10
this Screams magical to me the wand a girl laying on clouds AWW
-Originality- 3 out of 5
when i judge originality i judge mainly on how detailed their character is XP
-Likablity- 7 out of 10
Loved the swirls and just how laid back the picture is. its like she didnt try to make me like it XP

not much blue but it plays into the picture well
-Magical- 9 out of 10
The arcane circles are a great way to show how magical this picture is. XP
-Originality- 5 out of 5
LOTS of detail to the character and seems to go great with the back ground
-Likeability- 9 out of 10
It seems so ... right so much attention to detail and possibly a pic i would put as my background. XP

CONTEST UPDATE

ORIGINAL MAGIC CHARACTER CONTEST.

OK The contest ended today and if you didnt get in your deviation then im sorry. but the judging will go on for about a week and a half. i have multiple judges looking at them so bare with me XP
I been so busy i havnt been able to do any updates...i see all you other guys putting up like 3-4 a week and i put up only like....15 ever year.... so thats like ...1.15 a month... but mostly i put them up all at one time.. i tend to draw them all at one time too. it seems i ususally just so creative bump and ... draw... other times im just doodling at work "when i should be working " (WHAT IS THEIR TO DO AT A PRISON AT 3AM.... everyone is a sleep.) but IM SERIOUSLY SORRY. i so want to put up more original characters and do some better drawings... i dont seem to be to good at drawing back grounds and i hope i can imporve on that once i gett my own place. maybe practice a little more.... My contest is going great. but seems a little too dragged out. i may mOve the due date up to august 5th.

OK, Now i'm back from BCOT 'basic correctional officer training' for all of you who are new here. It was pretty fun. annoying but fun... "annoying parts were the drive up their and back..." BUT omg i started a contest XP it my first and i don't excpect much but i will hold up to what i say. depending on how many i get thats the prizes XP I've already got a great entry and hope to get alot more. i mean a ONE YEAR SUBSCRIPTION!!! Later on i hope to do a commision contest. "my own way though XP" you'll see what i mean when i acctually do it. it wont be any of my commitions though. I acctually should call it "I'll make Your WISHLIST come true contest" XP basically what ever print you want on your wishlist "size will be figured out later" I'll buy depending on your entry XP. I'll try to have At least 3 contest a year XP some for bigger prizes Xp BUT ENOUGH ABOUT DEV ART. XPjk

I'll be getting my car fixed soon XP. And after i get that completed ill hopefully be moving out XP. and for some reason my neibor is trying to set me up on a date XP so maybe a future girlfreind XP hopefully. ... its hard to meet people here. i mean i dont know anyone so this is about the only way i can really meet some one. lol. sucks. or at least by this way i can make some freinds and meet people though them. XP hey and life goes on. i got a good job a good head on my shoulders and.... ART,SPEED 'car', CONTEST, Freinds with all the people here. XP i met a couple people from georgia here. hey who knows maybe ill meet an artist on here that i can become good freinds with and so on and so on XP

REVIEWS

Oh man i been meaning to do this for a while. Its mainly for all the animes i have watched. But ill though in some that i have only read the manga. XP


First off


Bleach- I think it started off good. Even though i had already read the manga. It kept me going and i had a really good time with it. Untill the end. It seemed WAY too draged out. The only battles you saw at the end seemed to only be within the characters mind and it started off so action packed. But over all ill give it a 7 out of 10.

DeathNote- Oh man this is one just by looking at the name i didnt want to get into. I though it'd be one of those "ok boring get to the point" kind of shows. BUT then i started watching it "like 20 episodes too late . XP" and i really liked it. i mean a book that you could write peoples names in and they'd die. Sweet. now i havnt finished this one but right now ill give it an 8 out of 10 XP

Inuyasha- Ok now this is an interesting anime. It goes against anything a story writer would ever say... In a normal story you have a line of events that build up to the final one. NO NOT HERE. here their are major events that have little events building up to them but those major events ARNT the end. Its what i like to call the up down event. But... I do have to say it did... did have a good story line and fun characters ill give it a 7 out of 10.

Love Hina- "warning kentaku coming" this is a show/manga i loved to watch. single man put in very small incidents but made to look huge. puts out a good story and fun to read and watch. I'd say a 8 out of 10. XP

Mai-Hime- Once again its still not finished. only 5 or six books are out. but it gives off a good story and very original background to alot of characters. Being as the guy being a helper XP. its fun action packed and cant w8 to see the rest. Right now a 8.5 out of 10 (will be revised when finished)

Oh! my goddess- Ok Weird yes. original yes. art wonderful. This is sort of like the story of "Tenchi" has one girl live with him then another then another. like mixing tenchi with AIlove you. XP but with the goddess aspect. so not as original as i first though but a very good story nun the least. ill give it a 8.5 out of 10
